Thank you for the opportunity to work with your child on meeting their academic goals. Not only will I be meeting with your child on a weekly basis, but I will also be available through text and email to answer questions. Please read the following stipulations and sign the document at the bottom, so there is no confusion about my expectations and requirements.
Payment will be paid in monthly iterations and must be completed for the impending month.
Invoices will be sent out approximately a week before the start of the next month and payment will be expected before we start our next month’s sessions.
If a student can’t meet at their usual time, then I will attempt to meet them at a different time during the week. If their schedule is not conducive to my open slots, then there will be no session that week and there will be no refund.
If I need to cancel a session, then the payment already received will be credited to the next month’s sessions.
I will provide a summary of our sessions each month that will show the dates that we met and the topics we covered. I will also give a progress update from the previous month.
All weeks will be charged and shown on the invoice except for Fall Break, Thanksgiving week, Christmas Break, and Spring Break. If your session is on a weekend, then you will be charged for one of the weekends of Thanksgiving, Fall Break, and Spring Break.
If you need to meet more than the number of sessions allotted for on the invoice, then that amount will be expected at the end of the month when I send out my summary of sessions.
The weekly fee is $70 for one-hour sessions and monthly payments can be completed through Venmo (Shawn-Ward-4), cash, or check.
All school year sessions that are during the evening hours or on Sunday will all be done virtually.
Ideally, students will come to our sessions with questions after completing their homework; however, I know that is not always possible. My sessions are meant to clear up confusing problems and expand on topics discussed in class. Sessions are not meant to simply finish your homework.
If you have any questions about any of the items above, then please do not hesitate to ask. I look forward to making this a great year and helping out your child the most that I can.
